Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dan Koloa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dylon Taylor!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, John Roberts and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Koloa moves into the clinch.
Koloa is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Taylor tries to score a body lock takedown but Koloa shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Taylor has Koloa pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Koloa manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Taylor has momentary wrist control but Koloa slips an elbow through the middle.

Taylor stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Koloa swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Taylor trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Koloa is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Koloa looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Koloa is nestled in close to Taylor, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Koloa lands a nice short elbow.
Well, if Koloa is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Koloa is pressing down on Taylor's thigh, looking to free his foot. Taylor is holding on for now.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Koloa working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

You can see the frustration on Taylor's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Koloa connects with a nice short shot to Taylor's temple.

Dan Koloa overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Koloa loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Taylor scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Koloa land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Koloa stands and salutes the crowd.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dan Koloa!
