And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lee Woodman!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Thiago Cunha and Matheus Silva.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Woodman tries to score a power double leg takedown but Fighter sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Woodman somewhat.
Fighter misses the shot to the body.
Woodman dives in and grabs Fighter's left leg, looking for a takedown. Fighter pushes down on Woodman's head and hops out.
Woodman misses with a leg kick.
A quick step to the side and Fighter tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Woodman tries to clinch but Fighter moves out of range.

Woodman clinches up against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fighter lands a left hand.
Fighter lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Woodman can't get the takedown.
Rio Fighter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lee Woodman.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Fighter creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

A little feinted left hand from Fighter on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Fighter works the jab nicely.

It looks like Lee Woodman has been cut.

Fighter drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Woodman right on the button. Woodman goes down! Fighter follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Fighter gets the win via TKO!
