Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Balink Tarlah (ranked 2642 p4p, 3227 weight class) and Mateusz Biernat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Biernat has chosen Ballroom Blitz as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Balink Tarlah!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 24 - 1, fighting out of London, Mateusz Biernat!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Gregory Folan and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Biernat drives through and clinches with Tarlah against the cage.

Biernat breaks from the clinch.
Tarlah stuffs the takedown attempt from Biernat. Biernat gets slowly back to his feet.
Tarlah shoots in and drives through. Biernat sprawls well.
Biernat is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Biernat closes the distance and pushes Tarlah back into the cage.
Tarlah is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Biernat gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

It looks like Balink Tarlah has been cut.

Tarlah tries to stall but Biernat uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Tarlah holds on and takes a little breather.

Biernat is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Tarlah is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Tarlah has escaped and now he's on top!

Biernat pulls Tarlah in close to his closed guard and prevents Tarlah from doing any damage or advancing position.

Biernat looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Tarlah got a little sloppy there for a moment and Biernat has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Tarlah has managed to get both his arms back between Biernat's legs - danger averted.

Tarlah stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Biernat swivels though and keeps the full guard.

You can see the frustration on Biernat's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Tarlah wants to control but Biernat is keeping him busy.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Tarlah, as that shot connected.

Biernat has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Tarlah off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

The fight stays on the outside here - Biernat looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Tarlah tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Biernat manages to circle out of the way.

Tarlah scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Tarlah looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Biernat with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Tarlah turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Tarlah manages to end up in side control.

Biernat wants to control but Tarlah is keeping busy.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Tarlah connects with a nice short shot to Biernat's temple.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Biernat goes for a double leg but Tarlah avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Tarlah continues to drive forward.

Mateusz Biernat comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Biernat winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
