Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Donald Eibert!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jimmy Nitro!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Gregory Folan and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nitro misses with a head kick.
Eibert throws a head kick but Nitro moves out of range.
Eibert wants to clinch up but Nitro keeps it at a distance.
Nitro looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Nitro goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Eibert swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Eibert with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Nitro to score with a decent uppercut.
It looks like Donald Eibert has been cut.
Nitro blocks a jab.
Eibert darts in trying to clinch
enabling Nitro to counter with a crisp jab.
Eibert ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Nitro moves away.
Nitro avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nitro lands a body shot.
Nice jab there from Nitro.
Eibert is rocked!
Eibert gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Nitro gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Eibert is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jimmy Nitro!
