Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mawvin Vetorwee (ranked 956 p4p, 2663 weight class) and Roronoa Zoro (ranked 109 p4p, 261 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mawvin Vetorwee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Roronoa Zoro! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zoro shoots for a double leg takedown but Vetorwee sprawls well. He's pushed Zoro's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Vetorwee misses with a straight right. Zoro steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Vetorwee. Zoro closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Vetorwee quickly recovers to half guard. Vetorwee's coaches at MONEY TEAM!!! have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position. Zoro is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Vetorwee has managed to free his arm - good work. Vetorwee looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Vetorwee taking some punishment here, with Zoro in his half guard. Zoro is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Vetorwee defends it well. Vetorwee is refusing to be controlled, as Zoro sits in half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Vetorwee tries to get to full guard but Zoro has control of the leg. Zoro is nestled in close to Vetorwee, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zoro is looking to take a break and control but Vetorwee is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Vetorwee looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Zoro is taking a breather. Vetorwee says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Vetorwee tries to kick Zoro off but Zoro keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Vetorwee actively working from the bottom here. Zoro looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Vetorwee with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Vetorwee with the active half guard here but Zoro passes nicely into side control. Zoro trying to control the action but Vetorwee is working from the bottom. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Zoro scoring with punches from side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Zoro in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Zoro scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Vetorwee to see if he's OK. Zoro is looking to take a break and control but Vetorwee is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Zoro moves into full mount! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Zoro lands with some strikes. Zoro fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Zoro punishing his opponent with strikes. Vetorwee sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Zoro is controlling the pace.
Vetorwee is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Zoro pulls his head out easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vetorwee is not content to let Zoro control the position. Zoro slows the pace down in half guard. Vetorwee tries to roll over but Zoro keeps him under control. Zoro is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Zoro drops an elbow to the side of Vetorwee's head. Vetorwee wants to stand back up but Zoro manages to pass into side control.
Zoro controlling the position. Vetorwee tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Zoro wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Vetorwee takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Check out the look on Zoro's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Zoro has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Vetorwee! Vetorwee is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Zoro trying to control but Vetorwee is having none of it. Vetorwee really wants to buck Zoro off and get back to his feet. Vetorwee sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Zoro stalling. Zoro is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Vetorwee actively working from the bottom here. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Roronoa Zoro dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Zoro dives in for a single leg takedown but Vetorwee sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Nice sprawl there from Vetorwee as Zoro shoots in. Zoro misses with a takedown attempt - Vetorwee sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Mawvin Vetorwee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roronoa Zoro. Vetorwee catches Zoro with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Vetorwee takes a swing at Zoro's ribcage but misses. Zoro closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Vetorwee throws Zoro to one side and escapes! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Zoro dives in for a single leg takedown but Vetorwee sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Zoro shoots in but Vetorwee avoids the takedown attempt easily. Zoro scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Vetorwee makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Vetorwee throws a hook to the side of Zoro's head but Zoro sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Vetorwee throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
No luck for Zoro with that takedown attempt. Zoro's coach down at Rage Training was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Zoro's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Zoro drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Zoro has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Vetorwee to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Zoro is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Vetorwee pulls down on the head and he's put Zoro to sleep! This one is all over!
