Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rashad Jackson (ranked 2807 p4p, 24795 weight class) and Yancy Tellurite (ranked 332 p4p, 596 weight class). The key to victory for Rashad Jackson has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rashad Jackson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yancy Tellurite! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Percy O'Donnell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Decent striking displayed by Jackson there. Jackson throws a head kick that Tellurite semi-blocks.
Tellurite closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Jackson quickly recovers to half guard. Jackson is looking to improve his position.
Jackson is trying to maintain the position but Tellurite is very close to passing his half guard. Tellurite trying to control the pace. Tellurite working Jackson over with strikes. Tellurite trying to mount his opponent but Jackson defends it. Tellurite missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tellurite lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Jackson is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Tellurite scores with a couple of nice shots. Tellurite seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Tellurite's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Jackson avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Tellurite.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Still in half guard, Tellurite seems content to control. Tellurite with the ground and pound but Jackson uses the opportunity to regain guard. Tellurite controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Tellurite stands up over Jackson, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Jackson avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Tellurite is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tellurite working some strikes from top position. Tellurite sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Jackson's guard. Jackson has hold of Tellurite's hands but Tellurite slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Tellurite looks to land a strike but Jackson avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Tellurite slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Tellurite throwing strikes from guard but Jackson blocks nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tellurite controls from within his opponent's guard. More stalling from Tellurite. Jackson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Tellurite postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Yancy Tellurite dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Tellurite looks for a takedown but Jackson sprawls well. Jackson gets in close and instigates a clinch. Jackson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jackson tries to clinch but Tellurite moves out of range. Jackson feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Tellurites jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Tellurite circles away from the clinch attempt.
Jackson scores with a head kick.
Rashad Jackson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Tellurite tries for a takedown but Jackson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Tellurite shoots and misses and Jackson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Rashad Jackson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yancy Tellurite. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tellurite takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Tellurite misses with a right hand and Jackson counters with a series of strikes. Tellurite will be more careful next time no doubt. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Tellurite avoids the head kick by Jackson.
Jackson bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Tellurite's head. Tellurite on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tellurite fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jackson avoids it really well and circles away. Jackson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tellurite swats him away and circles back towards the center. Tellurite misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Rashad Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jackson fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Jackson lands with a slapping head kick. Tellurite gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Tellurite tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Jackson is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Tellurite buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Tellurite!! Tellurite is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Jackson throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rashad Jackson! Rashad Jackson decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
