The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marciano throws a right and a left that both miss.
Mbeki's coach down at Gold Samurai's Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Mbeki's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Mbeki misses with a head kick.
Marciano has been working on his boxing with his coaches at whitey's gym in the buildup to the fight.

Mbeki shapes to counter with a head kick.
Marciano displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Mbeki throws out the jab.
Mbeki throws a jab when Marciano was well out of range.
Marciano throws a big counter combination but Mbeki scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

It looks like Rosqui Marciano has been cut.

and Mbeki counters with a nice double leg into side control. Marciano won't be happy with that.

Mbeki tries for a takedown but Marciano sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
