Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Slinger (ranked 1321 p4p, 1838 weight class) and Kristof Pardi (ranked 148 p4p, 197 weight class). Slinger comes to the cage accompanied by Hail Mary. The crowd seem to be enjoying Pardi's choice of entrance music: Party Boy Theme. Kristof Pardi will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Patrick Slinger!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kristof Pardi!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Ackerman and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slinger shoots in looking for a takedown. Pardi tries to sprawl out of it but Slinger keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pardi manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
A big right from Pardi misses.
Pardi scores with a jab.
Pardi throws a jab when Slinger was well out of range.
Pardi ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Slinger moves away.
Pardi moves out of range of the body kick.
Pardi wants to clinch up but Slinger keeps it at a distance.
Slinger bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Pardi jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Slinger drops down looking for a counter takedown but Pardi sprawls and moves away.
Pardi moves out of range of the leg kick from Slinger.
Pardi swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Slinger fails to land the takedown.
Pardi misses with a looping right.
Slinger looks for a takedown but Pardi sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Patrick Slinger. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Slinger throws a head kick but Pardi moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Slinger shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Slinger lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Pardi jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Pardi comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Pardi misses with a hook.
Slinger slips under a jab from Pardi.
Slinger scores with a head kick.
Pardi avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Pardi throws an overhand right that lands on Slinger's shoulder, as Slinger tries to avoid the shot.
Pardi bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Slinger's head.
Pardi tries to clinch there but Slinger circles away.
Pardi lands a glancing blow to the side of Slinger's head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Slinger throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Slinger avoids the body shot from Pardi.
Pardi throws a hook but Slinger avoids it easily.
Kristof Pardi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pardi jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Pardi fails in his attempt to clinch.
Pardi might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Pardi leaves Slinger with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Pardi moves out of range of the body kick.
Pardi gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pardi is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Slinger trying to control but Pardi postures up.
Pardi wants to control but Slinger is keeping him busy.
Slinger is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Pardi pulls his head out easily.
Pardi is controlling the pace.
Ground and pound from Pardi.
Slinger has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Pardi. Oh but Slinger has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Pardi goes limp - he's gone! Slinger jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
