PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Smelvis Jeffries (ranked 5541 p4p, 4342 weight class) and Sepi Honka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jeffries fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Honka manages to avoid it.

Jeffries throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Honka's waist but Honka gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jeffries off to one side.

Jeffries bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Honka's guard.

Jeffries slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
