Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dalton Jin (ranked 24989 p4p, 6607 weight class) and Jacob McGregor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dalton Jin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jacob McGregor! The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Jeff Smith and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McGregor drives through with a takedown into Jin's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. McGregor won't allow Jin to sweep him here. McGregor wants to control from the top but Jin keeps moving. McGregor seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Jin tries to land a sweep but no joy. McGregor trying to control the position from guard on top but Jin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. McGregor throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Jin works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Jin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for McGregor on the ground. McGregor won't allow Jin to sweep him here. Jin is trying to control the position but McGregor postures up. McGregor is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jin is just riding it out for now. McGregor eventually gives up the hold. McGregor trying to control the action but Jin is working from the bottom.

McGregor is trying to get an arm triangle but Jin is defending well. Jin is looking for a sweep. Jin is breathing heavily. Jin trying his best to control but McGregor has mounted him. McGregor tries to control but Jin wriggling away. Jin looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! McGregor biding his time, looking for the opening.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jin is trying to break free.

McGregor stands up from Jin's guard - McGregor perhaps looking for a knockout. McGregor throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Jin tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. McGregor is in Jin's guard. Jin trying to keep a closed guard but McGregor is proving a slippery customer.
Jin lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Nope, Jin has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Jin tries to lock up and control but McGregor gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Jin tries to reverse the position but McGregor maintains control. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. McGregor looking to control but Jin is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McGregor lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. McGregor throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Jin working to try and regain half guard.

McGregor has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. McGregor looking to control and managing it successfully. McGregor throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. McGregor manages to capitalize on a mistake by Jin to take his back! McGregor has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
