Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Squids Testfeyev (ranked 4737 p4p, 4883 weight class) and Vincent Edwards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Squids Testfeyev!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vincent Edwards!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Igor Prikhodko and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edwards gets a double leg takedown into Testfeyev's guard.
Edwards passes into half guard.
Edwards is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Edwards connects with a nice short shot to Testfeyev's temple.
Edwards takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Testfeyev is trying to control but Edwards manages to pass to mount!
Edwards pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Edwards sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

Edwards has control of Testfeyev's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Testfeyev regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Edwards looking for a guillotine from mount but Testfeyev is having none of it.
Testfeyev really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Edwards working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Testfeyev looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Edwards! Submission of the night perhaps?
