Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luca Li Citra (ranked 4424 p4p, 4407 weight class) and Poloko Nthwane (ranked 99 p4p, 147 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Luca Li Citra!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Poloko Nthwane!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.
Nthwane uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Li Citra.
A little jabbing left from Nthwane on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Nthwane should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Nthwane blocks a jab.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nthwane bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Li Citra throws a hook to the side of Nthwane's head but Nthwane sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Nthwane! But no joy.
Good exchange - Nthwane coming out on top.
Li Citra ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Nthwane uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Li Citra has time to react.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Li Citra on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Poloko Nthwane comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Nthwane has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
