The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mane shoots in but Theorist avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Nice defenses there by Theorist.
A big right from Theorist misses.
A swing and a miss from Theorist.
Mane looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Theorist fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mane manages to avoid it.
Theorist connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Theorist misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Mane.
Mane lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Theorist connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Mane takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Theorist throws a jab but it's blocked by Mane.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Theorist misses with a left hand
enabling Mane to counter with a crisp jab.
Theorist takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Mane shoots in for a takedown but Theorist shows good takedown defense.
A slow jab from Mane misses its intended target.
A little feinted left hand from Theorist on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Mane takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Mane punishes Theorist's body with a nice straight punch.

Theorist throws a shot from downtown. Mane moves away and avoids it.

Theorist takes the fight into the clinch.
A head punch on the inside from Mane fails to land.
Mane tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Mane takes a shot to the head.
Theorist scores with a shot to the side of Mane's head.
Mane is working Theorist over against the cage.
Mane is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Theorist pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Conspiracy Theorist has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Blackout Mane.
Mane fails to pull guard.
Theorist tries to throw a body punch but Mane avoids it by throwing Theorist back against the cage.
Theorist pushes Mane back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Mane drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Theorist gets the underhooks and prevents it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mane tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Theorist just stands there and leans against the cage.

Theorist digs a right hand underneath Mane's ribcage. Mane let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Theorist lands a hook that snaps the head of Mane backwards.

Theorist lands a big right hand that drops Mane! The killer instinct kicks in and Theorist finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Theorist!

In his post fight interview, Conspiracy Theorist started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
