The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Chris Saunders and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcgregor thows a body kick. Grimes tries to catch it but that hurt him.
A shot to the liver by Mcgregor. Beautiful body shot.
Grimes blocks a leg kick.
Grimes is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
A right-left combo lands from Mcgregor.
Grimes blocks a head kick by Mcgregor.
Grimes wants to counter with a clinch but Mcgregor pushes him away.
Mcgregor moves into the clinch successfully.
Grimes has picked Mcgregor up - he's going for a ride! Grimes dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Mcgregor manages to escape and get back to his feet!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Mcgregor breaks the clinch.
Mcgregor closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Mcgregor has hold of Grimes's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Grimes tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Mcgregor cranks the arm and Grimes screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Grimes, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
