Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pete Roberts (ranked 2857 p4p, 4286 weight class) and Balabak Agayo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Balabak Agayo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Pete Roberts! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Balabak Agayo! The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Matheus Silva and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Agayo is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Roberts's half guard. Roberts on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Roberts tries to get out of the position. Agayo prevents Roberts from standing back up.
Agayo is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Roberts is just riding it out for now. Agayo eventually gives up the hold. Roberts makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Roberts. Roberts trying to strike off his back.
Roberts has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Agayo stopping the sweep attempt from Roberts. Agayo must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Roberts throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Roberts wants to get back to his feet but Agayo is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Roberts really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Agayo moves into the clinch. Knees to the body from Agayo.
Agayo has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Roberts uses from the top position. Roberts throws a big right hand that misses. Roberts lands a couple of elbows. Roberts is looking to work some ground and pound but Agayo has wrist control. Agayo avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Roberts forces his way into half guard. Roberts is keen to just control but Agayo is a slippery customer.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Roberts throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nice strikes from Roberts there. Roberts landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Roberts connects with a nice short shot to Agayo's temple. Agayo has hold of Roberts's hands but Roberts slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Agayo is looking to escape. Roberts lands with a punch from half guard. Agayo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Roberts. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Roberts looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Agayo with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Roberts throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Roberts lands a nice short elbow. Ground and pound from Roberts. Roberts is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Roberts drops an elbow to the side of Agayo's head. Roberts is controlling the pace.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Roberts takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Agayo taking some punishment here, with Roberts in his half guard. Roberts is trying to control the action in half guard but Agayo is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Roberts lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Roberts winds up and cracks Agayo with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Agayo is rocked! Roberts working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Agayo is still in real trouble! Can Roberts finish him? Roberts drops an elbow to the side of Agayo's head. Roberts working the head and body with strikes. Agayo looks winded! Roberts lands a big elbow - Agayo is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Roberts!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Pete Roberts! Balabak Agayo was interviewed post fight and said 'its a tough fight, the best fighter won so i want to congrat my oponent but I will comeback stronger and better and will avange this lost in the near future mark my word'.
