Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Max Aarons (ranked 4772 p4p, 4778 weight class) and Mauricio Ascaciba (ranked 154 p4p, 153 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Max Aarons! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mauricio Ascaciba! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aarons moves into range and clinches up with Ascaciba. Ascaciba goes for a takedown in the clinch but Aarons prevents it.
Ascaciba goes for a takedown attempt but Aarons pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Aarons tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ascaciba sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Aarons somewhat. Aarons checks a leg kick. Aarons misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. No luck for Aarons with that takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Max Aarons. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ascaciba wants to clinch up but Aarons keeps it at a distance. Aarons scores with a sloppy right hand. Ascaciba should have avoided that one. Ascaciba dives in for a single leg takedown but Aarons sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Aarons clinches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Aarons taking a breather. Aarons is trying to pull guard but Ascaciba turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Ascaciba managing to block the knees to the body from Aarons.
Aarons breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Aarons pushes Ascaciba up against the cage in a clinch. Aarons successfully pulls guard.
Aarons is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ascaciba in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Aarons working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Ascaciba. Aarons looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ascaciba postures up in Aarons's guard and throws a big left but Aarons blocks it. Aarons is controlling Ascaciba's posture. Ascaciba slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Ascaciba throws a strike but Aarons rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Ascaciba is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Ascaciba tries to land a sweep but no joy.
And that's the end of the fight! Max Aarons showed his dominance in that final round. Well Aarons has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
