The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A thudding body kick lands there by Miyashita!
Miyashita blocks the body kick.
As Ryokale backs off Miyashita throws a huge counter combo but Ryokale manages to avoid it all.
Miyashita looks to land a body kick but Ryokale moved away.
A head kick misses from Ryokale.
Ryokale scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Miyashita has one foot on Ryokale's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Ryokale throws a body kick that misses
and Miyashita counters with a left to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Miyashita just misses with a punch to the body.
A quick step to the side and Ryokale tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ryokale shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Miyashita moves into full guard.
Ryokale has gone for a leg lock! Miyashita slips out almost immediately though and dives into Ryokale's guard.
Ryokale has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Miyashita doesn't defend quickly enough and Ryokale has managed to lock this one up! Can Miyashita escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Ryokale on a fantastic submission victory.
