Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fury tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lampi swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Fury has Lampi up against the cage in a clinch.
Lampi doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Fury throws a punch but it's blocked by Lampi.
Still in the clinch, Fury scores with a nice short uppercut.
I was talking to Fury's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Lampi is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Lampi working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Fury doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Fury manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

It looked like Fury was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

It looks like John Fury has been cut.
Fury moves in looking to clinch but Lampi pushes him off.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Lampi! But no joy.

Lampi and Fury are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Lampi throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Fury into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Lampi knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
