Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Reijo Rupatti!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Evan O Riley!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Atkins and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
O Riley throws a right and a left that both miss.
O Riley looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Rupatti lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
O Riley keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Rupatti.
Sloppy strikes from O Riley. Those never looked like landing.
O Riley's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and O Riley duly obliges.
It looks like Reijo Rupatti has been cut.
O Riley fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Rupatti tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but O Riley was well out of range. Poor timing from Rupatti.
Rupatti looks to score with a jab to the body but O Riley is just out of range.
A telegraphed right hand from Rupatti misses the target.
Rupatti moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Evan O Riley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rupatti connects with an inside leg kick.
Rupatti misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from O Riley.
Rupatti cracks O Riley with a right hand to the side of the head.
A slapping leg kick lands for Rupatti.
Rupatti has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
O Riley misses with a two punch combination.
That's one minute gone in the round.
O Riley gets cracked there but stands up to it.
O Riley misses with a takedown attempt - Rupatti sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
O Riley displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Rupatti throws out the jab.
O Riley rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rupatti moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Rupatti throwing a counter right hand but O Riley manages to avoid it.
Rupatti misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from O Riley.
A little jabbing left from O Riley on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
O Riley stalks Rupatti and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Rupatti's face. Rupatti staggers backwards, shaken.
Rupatti is rocked!
O Riley lands with a big right hook that stumbles Rupatti - he's out on his feet here! O Riley follows up with another monster hook that separates Rupatti from consciousness! Rupatti falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! O Riley stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Evan O Riley!
