The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis pushes Pereira up against the cage in a clinch.
Pereira struggles to land a body shot inside as Davis controls his hands.
Pereira tries to work over Davis's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Davis lands with a short head shot on the inside.
It looks like Guilherme Pereira has been cut.
Pereira tries to pull guard but Davis won't allow it.

Davis lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Davis lands with a right to the head.
Nice body punch from Davis - that landed with a thud.
Davis lands with a short shot to the head.
Pereira misses with a short punch on the inside.
Davis lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Pereira or not.
Pereira is breathing heavily.
Davis lands a hook that snaps the head of Pereira backwards.
Davis lands with a left to the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Davis drops Pereira onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Pereira is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Pereira is rocked!
Guilherme Pereira's cut is getting worse.
Davis lands a big right hand that drops Pereira! The killer instinct kicks in and Davis finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Davis!
