Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Guy Bernier (ranked 3351 p4p, 5718 weight class) and Bakas Sinalau (ranked 302 p4p, 408 weight class). Bakas Sinalau will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Guy Bernier!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bakas Sinalau!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Steven Brown and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sinalau avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Bernier is looking to land body kicks.
Sinalau avoids the body shot from Bernier.
Bernier finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Bernier closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Sinalau quickly recovers to half guard.
Sinalau wants to stand back up but Bernier manages to pass into side control.
Bernier definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Bernier happy to just control the position for now.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sinalau tries to buck Bernier off but Bernier is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A lull in the action here.
Bernier has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Bernier is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Sinalau is trying to escape and Bernier transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Sinalau is forced to tap! Nice work there by Bernier! Very nice indeed!
