Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dwalin Giantslayer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Ray Turn !
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Richard Clark and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turn darts in looking for a takedown but Giantslayer gets double underhooks and turns Turn into the cage.
Giantslayer avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Giantslayer decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Turn actively working from the bottom here.
Giantslayer has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Giantslayer keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Turn is looking for a sweep. Giantslayer is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Giantslayer is taking a breather. Turn says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Turn blocking the ground and pound attempt from Giantslayer.
Giantslayer lands with a punch from half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Turn is looking to control Giantslayer's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Turn avoid being mounted?
Turn has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.
Turn keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Turn is trying to control but can't.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Giantslayer lands a nice short elbow.
Giantslayer working over Turn with some ground and pound. Turn looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Giantslayer is looking to advance position but Turn won't allow it.
Turn wants to control but Giantslayer is keeping busy.
Giantslayer throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Giantslayer takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Giantslayer seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Turn does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Giantslayer throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Turn is looking for a sweep. Giantslayer is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Giantslayer takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Giantslayer looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Giantslayer connects with a nice short shot to Turn 's temple.

It looks like Ray Turn has been cut.
Turn wants to control but Giantslayer is keeping busy.
Giantslayer lands with a punch from half guard.
Turn on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Giantslayer not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Turn is looking for a sweep. Giantslayer is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Turn trying to hold on to Giantslayer's head to control him but Giantslayer postures up.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Giantslayer lands a nice short elbow.
Turn moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Giantslayer seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Giantslayer passes Turn 's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Giantslayer looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Giantslayer gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Turn tries to clinch up

and Giantslayer counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Giantslayer scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Giantslayer is nestled in close to Turn , controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The cut above Ray Turn 's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Turn is in trouble now - Giantslayer has advanced to mount!
Turn is looking to get to half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Giantslayer looking to finish Turn with some ground and pound. This is bad for Turn !

Ray Turn 's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Ray Turn 's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Dwalin Giantslayer!
Dwalin Giantslayer bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
