Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Julio Balestrin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Enzo Williams!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Glass and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balestrin looks to score with a jab to the body but Williams is just out of range.
Williams looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Balestrin displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Williams throws out the jab.
Williams shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Balestrin as he avoids it easily.
Williams tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Balestrin defends well and Williams ends up having to push Balestrin into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Balestrin lands with a hook. Williams tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Williams shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
letting Balestrin counter with a right hand.
Julio Balestrin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Enzo Williams.
Balestrin misses with an attempted mid kick.
Williams shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Balestrin counters with a nice body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Williams shoots and misses
and Balestrin counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Williams tries to score a power double leg takedown but Balestrin sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Williams somewhat.
Jab by Balestrin.

Williams misses with a takedown attempt
and Balestrin counters with a right hand to the body.
Williams shoots in but Balestrin avoids the takedown attempt easily.
A punch combination from Williams misses.
Williams doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Balestrin counters with a crisp right hand that drops Williams! Balestrin lets Williams back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Williams is rocked!
Williams tries for a takedown but Balestrin circles away easily
and Balestrin rattles Williams with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Williams tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Balestrin dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Williams stiff and motionless on the mat!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Julio Balestrin!
