The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nine avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Nine misses with a wild combination.
Five uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Nine.
Five keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Nine jumps guard but Five stands there with Nine around his waist. Nine gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Nine tries to pull guard but Five holds him up against the cage and eventually Nine drops back down to his feet.
Nine has Five pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Five manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Nine's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Five throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Nine's waist but Nine gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Five off to one side.
Nine looks to land a body kick but Five moved away.
Five defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Nine.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Nine takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Nine fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Test Five.
Well Five has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
