Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Bill Beukeboom (ranked 1530 p4p, 2800 weight class) and Marty Robbins (ranked 232 p4p, 381 weight class). Robbins comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Marty Robbins - Big Iron kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Robbins finds it's way through Beukeboom's defenses.
Robbins lands a leg kick that knocks Beukeboom off balance momentarily.
Robbins throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Beukeboom.

Marty Robbins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Beukeboom has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Beukeboom doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Robbins displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Beukeboom throws out the jab.

Robbins fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Beukeboom manages to avoid it.

and Beukeboom counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Robbins has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Jab, jab by Beukeboom - just one landing.
Robbins throws a lazy body kick
and Beukeboom counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Robbins throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Robbins closes the distance looking to clinch
and Beukeboom counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Robbins is rocked!
Beukeboom stuns Robbins with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Beukeboom takes a jab right on the kisser.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Robbins glances at the clock... BAM! Beukeboom nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Robbins crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Robbins is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
