Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bob MCBobington (ranked 4654 p4p, 4840 weight class) and JR Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 148 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Paul Aken and Aafke Stam.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MCBobington misses with a takedown

and Jenkins holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Jenkins tries for a takedown but MCBobington manages to get underhooks.
Jenkins drops to a knee looking for a takedown but MCBobington gets the underhooks and prevents it.
MCBobington wants a takedown but no success here.

Bob MCBobington has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of JR Jenkins.

MCBobington decides to pull guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jenkins postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

MCBobington working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jenkins doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jenkins manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

MCBobington has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jenkins can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Jenkins wants to get back to his feet but MCBobington is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Jenkins is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Jenkins slips a nice elbow through MCBobington's hands, connecting with MCBobington's forehead.
Jenkins looks to land a strike but MCBobington avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Jenkins not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Jenkins might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control MCBobington haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

MCBobington working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Jenkins is nestled in close to MCBobington, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
