Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stefan Andersson (ranked 457 p4p, 791 weight class) and Darragh Fiachna (ranked 66 p4p, 107 weight class). Fiachna comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Suspect Device kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Darragh Fiachna acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andersson lands a body shot.
Andersson takes the fight into the clinch.
Andersson manages to break the clinch.
Andersson lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Fiachna backs up against the cage.
It looks like Darragh Fiachna has been cut.
Andersson pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Fiachna back to the cage. Andersson follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Andersson clinches up with Fiachna and pushes him back against the cage.
Fiachna is looking for a takedown.
Andersson is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Andersson is pressed up against the cage. Fiachna has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Andersson down to the mat. Andersson avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fiachna is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Andersson has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Fiachna is trying to stick to Andersson's back but Andersson is turning into Fiachna. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Fiachna's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Andersson.

Fiachna has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Andersson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Fiachna is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Fiachna is pushing down on Andersson's leg trying to pass to half guard. Andersson is fighting to maintain full guard but Fiachna has managed to sneak the leg through.

Andersson looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Fiachna puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Andersson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Fiachna trying to mount his opponent but Andersson defends it.
Andersson is staying active underneath Fiachna, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Fiachna tries to pass the half guard into mount. Andersson knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Fiachna got a little sloppy there for a moment and Andersson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Fiachna has managed to get both his arms back between Andersson's legs - danger averted.
Fiachna wants to pass the guard but Andersson is keeping the position.
Andersson wants to sweep here but Fiachna controlling him for the moment.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Andersson swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Fiachna.

and Fiachna counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Andersson!
Andersson is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Fiachna's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Fiachna is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Andersson is just riding it out for now. Fiachna eventually gives up the hold.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
