The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

De Nazario scores with a takedown into Exteberria's guard.

De Nazario drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and De Nazario jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

De Nazario is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Exteberria had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. De Nazario defends it easily.
De Nazario could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

De Nazario got a little sloppy there for a moment and Exteberria has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, De Nazario has managed to get both his arms back between Exteberria's legs - danger averted.

De Nazario thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

De Nazario is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Exteberria to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Exteberria shrugs it off.
Exteberria is desperately trying to improve his position but De Nazario has a good base and remains in mount.
