Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kamaru Usman (ranked 3525 p4p, 3814 weight class) and Antonio Ray (ranked 414 p4p, 442 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ray throws a lazy right hand but Usman sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Usman checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Usman seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Usman throws a body punch but Ray moves out of range.
Ray misses with a hook
and Usman counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Ray misses with a left hand
and Usman cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Ray thows a body kick. Usman tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Usman is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ray.
Good work by Usman as he checks the leg kick.
It looked like Usman was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Ray.
That kick from Ray tenderised Usman's leg. Usman is trying to keep his angry face on.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A head kick misses from Ray.
Ray fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Usman is out of range.
Ray looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
A slapping body kick lands there for Ray.
Ray throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Usman takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Usman seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Usman works Ray's body with a nice hook.
Ray throws a quick inside leg kick.
A head kick misses from Ray.
Ray on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Ray looks to throw a body kick
and Usman connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Usman scores with a punch to the head.
Usman walks into a jab.
Ray misses with a left hand
and Usman counters with a stiff right hand.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ray misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ray throws a leg kick
and Usman counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Ray is rocked!
