The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rocket uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Tenacious.
Tenacious sets himself, and Rocket steps forward looking for the clinch! Tenacious avoids it this time.
Tenacious fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rocket manages to avoid it.
Rocket moves out of range as Tenacious strikes.
Rocket wants to clinch
and Rocket takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Rocket throws a sloppy head kick and Tenacious moves out of range easily.
Rocket throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tenacious's waist but Tenacious gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rocket off to one side.
Tenacious lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Rocket tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Tenacious swivels and escapes.
Tenacious stuffs the takedown attempt from Rocket. Rocket gets slowly back to his feet.
Terry Tenacious has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johnny Rocket.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rocket tries to clinch there but Tenacious circles away.
Tenacious jabs Rocket to the body, keeping him at a distance.
A cross from Tenacious lands.
Rocket uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Tenacious.

Rocket dives in for a single leg takedown but Tenacious sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Tenacious lands a right hook to the body.
Rocket has a takedown stuffed.
Tenacious seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Rocket looks winded!
Rocket will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Tenacious connects with the punch.
Tenacious lands with a hook. Rocket tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Tenacious misses the jab.
Tenacious ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Tenacious fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Tenacious lands a right hook to the body.
Tenacious scores with a jab to the jaw.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rocket takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Good exchange - Tenacious coming out on top.

It looks like Johnny Rocket has been cut.

Tenacious drops Rocket with a beautiful combination! Rocket stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Tenacious is looking for the KO!

Rocket is rocked!
Rocket drops his hands momentarily. Tenacious doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Rocket staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Rocket doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
