Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Zac Zane!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andrei Sobral!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Anthony Taglia and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sobral misses with a takedown attempt
and Zane connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Zane sizes up Sobral with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Sobral staying out of range there.
Zane rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
letting Sobral counter with a right hand.
Sobral looks for a takedown but Zane sprawls well.
Sobral tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Zane swivels and escapes.
Zane is looking to counter punch.
Zac Zane has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andrei Sobral.
Sobral bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Sobral shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Zane defends it nicely.
Zane connects with a crisp jab.
Zane throws a hook but Sobral blocks it.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Zane, as that shot connected.

Sobral clinches.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Zane stalling the fight.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sobral wants to take the fight to the mat but Zane manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Zane is pushing Sobral up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Zane lands a hook that snaps the head of Sobral backwards.
Sobral has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Zane is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Sobral.
Zane is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
A head punch on the inside from Zane fails to land.

Sobral breaks from the clinch.
Sobral shoots in for a takedown but Zane shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Zane was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Sobral moves out of range of the strikes.
Sobral walks straight into a right hand from Zane - that's dropped him! Zane jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Sobral from any more punishment! Sobral complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
