Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ladislas Galopin (ranked 476 p4p, 851 weight class) and Terry Tungsten (ranked 5 p4p, 15 weight class). Tungsten is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Cover of The Rolling Stone by Dr. Hook. On his way into the cage it seems that Ladislas Galopin has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Ladislas Galopin seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ladislas Galopin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Terry Tungsten!
The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, Damien Edna and John Mangel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tungsten displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Galopin throws out the jab.
Terry Tungsten seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tungsten tries to close the distance and clinch up but Galopin swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Tungsten scores with a sloppy right hand. Galopin should have avoided that one.
The fight stays on the outside here - Tungsten looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Galopin swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Tungsten misses with a combination

and Galopin counters with a shoot takedown. Tungsten fights it but they end up in guard.
Galopin engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Tungsten wants to sweep here but Galopin controlling him for the moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Galopin forces his way into half guard.
Tungsten is looking to control Galopin's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Tungsten avoid being mounted?

Tungsten is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Galopin is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Tungsten is trying desperately to improve position.
Tungsten really wants to buck Galopin off and get back to his feet.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tungsten can do anything to dispel that myth.

Galopin avoids the attempt from Tungsten to control.
Tungsten manages to control the position for a moment.
Tungsten wants to control but Galopin is having none of it.

Galopin takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Tungsten told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
Tungsten is wriggling around trying to escape.
Galopin tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Tungsten prevents Galopin from taking his back.
Tungsten tries to lock up and control but Galopin gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Tungsten really wants to buck Galopin off and get back to his feet.
Galopin wants to take Tungsten's back here but Tungsten is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
Tungsten is trying to reverse the position but instead Galopin has taken his back - oops!

Galopin is hanging on to Tungsten's back as he tries to escape.
Galopin seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
Tungsten just trying to survive but Galopin is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
Galopin biding his time, looking for the opening.
Tungsten really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Galopin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Galopin looking to break Tungsten's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Tungsten remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Galopin will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

You can see the frustration on Tungsten's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Galopin has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

Galopin working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Tungsten is doing well to defend. Galopin seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Tungsten is forced to tap and this one is over!

In defeat, Terry Tungsten stepped up to the mic, saying 'That man hits harder than me ex on a bender…and if she taught me anything, it’s that I’ll bounce back from this loss and sleep with my opponents sister. '.
