Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Aden Brewer (ranked 5033 p4p, 2660 weight class) and Miyata San (ranked 533 p4p, 327 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Aden Brewer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Miyata San!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
San scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Brewer has hold of San's hands but San slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
San stops Brewer from getting back to his feet.
Nice strikes from San there.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw San working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
San prevents Brewer from standing back up.
San looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
San not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Brewer regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from San.
San throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
San won't allow Brewer to get back to his feet.
San throws an elbow that misses. Brewer uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in San's guard. Nice move by Brewer!
Brewer decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on San, up you get!

and San counters with a single leg into guard. Brewer didn't expect that.
Brewer wants to get back to his feet but San is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

San postures up and lands a big shot to Brewer's brow.
Brewer has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
San cracks Brewer with a solid left hand.

San lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Brewer pushes San off and gets back to his feet.

San ducks under a wild hook from Brewer.
Brewer throws a combination. San tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Brewer cracks San with an open hand slap.

and San counters with a single leg into guard. Brewer didn't expect that.

San scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
San trying to control but Brewer is working from the bottom.
Brewer wants to stand but San is controlling the position.
San chips away with some ground and pound.
San is working Brewer over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
San must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Brewer has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. San has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
San managing to block the knees to the body from Brewer.
Brewer can't break the clinch.
Brewer escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Brewer throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
so San counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
San postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Brewer is breathing heavily.
Brewer is looking to stand up but San isn't so interested in that idea.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
San working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Brewer's head.
San gets to his feet and stands over Brewer, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Brewer felt that one! San unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Brewer from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Miyata San!
