Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yujiro Okada (ranked 5573 p4p, 5169 weight class) and Pablo Asprilla (ranked 621 p4p, 592 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yujiro Okada!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Pablo Asprilla!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yukihiro Shimada and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Asprilla slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Okada decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Okada is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Asprilla doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Okada.
Okada passes the guard and advances to mount!
Okada takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Okada has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
This is a sustained period of stalling by Okada.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Okada continues to hold on tight.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Okada quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Okada but it's paid off an Asprilla is forced to tap! Nice work by Okada.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Yujiro Okada!
