Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pultti Pyssy (ranked 4453 p4p, 5113 weight class) and Roman Reyes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pultti Pyssy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Roman Reyes!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Arvi Lind and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pyssy throws a head kick but Reyes moves out of range.
Reyes unleashes a big counter combination but Pyssy bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Reyes goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Pyssy moves into range and clinches up with Reyes.

Pyssy escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Pyssy tries to clinch up
and Reyes counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Reyes lands the left hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pyssy has his takedown stuffed
and Reyes counters with a right hand to the body.

Pyssy has taken the fight to the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Reyes wants to break free but Pyssy has control.

Pyssy's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Pyssy gets a clinch.
Reyes being controlled against the cage.
Pyssy fails to pull guard.
Pyssy holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Pyssy tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Reyes just stands there and leans against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pultti Pyssy. That's going to take a lot out of him.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Reyes wants to get back to striking at distance but Pyssy won't allow it.
Reyes gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Pyssy.
Pyssy is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Reyes has had enough of the clinch but Pyssy keeps him there for the moment.
Pyssy keeps control of Reyes as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Pyssy jumps guard but Reyes stands there with Pyssy around his waist. Pyssy gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Pyssy manages to break the clinch.

Pyssy shoots for a double leg takedown but Reyes sprawls well. He's pushed Pyssy's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Despite the aggression on Reyes's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Reyes scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Pyssy lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Reyes circles away quickly and effectively.
Reyes unleashes a big counter combination but Pyssy bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Pyssy tries to close the distance and clinch but Reyes swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
As Pyssy backs off Reyes throws a huge counter combo but Pyssy manages to avoid it all.
Pyssy moves forwards but Reyes connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Pyssy looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Reyes is looking for the big counter here.
Pyssy misses with a left hand
and Reyes counters with a left to the body.
Reyes lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Nice combo by Reyes! Oh, that's hurt him - Pyssy falls to the canvas and Reyes follows him into side control.

Pyssy is rocked!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Reyes wants to stand but Pyssy has his arm trapped.
Oh Pyssy is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Reyes has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Pyssy changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Reyes tries to avoid it but Pyssy manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Reyes to the ground. Reyes escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Pyssy seems to have got his legs back now.
Pyssy tries to clinch up
and Reyes counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Pyssy has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Roman Reyes!
