Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Siddhartha Buddha (ranked 2541 p4p, 4526 weight class) and David Pele (ranked 0 p4p, 539 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as David Pele enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Siddhartha Buddha! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, David Pele! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Shigeki Sano and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Buddha bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Pele steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Buddha. Buddha throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Buddha lands the left hand. Buddha throws a leg kick that is checked and Pele counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Buddha is looking for a sweep. Pele is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Ground and pound from Pele. Pele controlling the pace. Buddha is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Buddha moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Pele controlling from the top position. Buddha manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Pele manages to get himself to full guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Pele is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Buddha is aware though and is defending well. Buddha trying to control but Pele is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Buddha is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Buddha in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Pele keeping moving, preventing Buddha from controlling successfully. Buddha passes easily into side control. Nice work. Pele regains half guard. Buddha is thwarting Pele's attempts to control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Buddha controlling the pace. Buddha definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Buddha trying to control from half guard but Pele is working away. Buddha looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pele trying to hold on to Buddha's head to control him but Buddha postures up.
Buddha is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Pele is just riding it out for now. Buddha eventually gives up the hold. Buddha performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Buddha trying to control from Pele's half guard. Pele has other ideas though and has regained full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Pele looking for a sweep. Not yet Pele, not yet. Buddha loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Buddha not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Pele looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Buddha slips nicely into half guard. Buddha sitting and controlling from the half guard. Buddha sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Pele defending well though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Buddha with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Pele is refusing to be controlled, as Buddha sits in half guard. Buddha is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Pele is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Buddha controlling the action here. Buddha wants to lay and pray for a moment but Pele keeps working. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Pele tries to get to full guard but Buddha has control of the leg. Buddha throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Siddhartha Buddha dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action! Nice body punch from Buddha. Buddha throws a body shot but no joy. Pele throws a fast counter high kick but Buddha manages to duck under it in time. Buddha swings for the body but Pele moves out of range.
Pele bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. David Pele is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Buddha throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Pele steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Buddha. Buddha lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Pele takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Buddha looks to score with a jab to the body but Pele is just out of range. Pele gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Buddha. Pele takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Buddha scores with a crisp jab that stopped Pele in his tracks. Buddha lands a nice hook to Pele's body. Pele takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Buddha throws a body shot but no joy. A decent looking cross lands there for Buddha. Pele slips under a jab. Buddha looks to throw the jab but Pele is out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. A left lands for Buddha.
It looks like David Pele has been cut. No luck with that takedown attempt from Pele. Pele tries for a takedown but Buddha circles away easily and Buddha counters with a nice body shot. Pele is breathing heavily. Buddha throws a good cross that connects.
Buddha lands a jab to the head.
Buddha bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Pele's head.
Pele is rocked! Buddha punishes Pele's body with a nice straight punch. Pele is still on wobbly legs! Can Buddha finish him? Buddha scores with a jab to the jaw. Pele gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Buddha. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Buddha misses the shot to the body. Pele seems to have recovered his senses. Buddha scores with a nice right hand.

Buddha jabs at Pele's body. Nice shot lands for Buddha. Pele showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Buddha.
Good shot there by Buddha. Siddhartha Buddha is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Buddha cracks Pele with a right hand to the side of the head. Buddha works Pele's body with a nice hook. Buddha lands a big uppercut and Pele crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Pele looks OK. Buddha waves Pele back to his feet! Buddha lands a nice hook to Pele's body. Pele takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Pele takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Buddha feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Pele sprawling to the canvas! Pele rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Buddha finish him?!
Buddha drops Pele with a big left hand! Pele is injured, injured bad! Buddha jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Siddhartha Buddha!
