And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, KT Panda!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Chris Edwards and Paul Tew.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Panda moves out of range of the strikes.
Panda defending well as Intervention loads up on a big left hand.
Panda is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Intervention with a body shot.
Panda attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Panda staying out of range there.
Panda throws a body shot but no joy.
Panda lands with a cross.
Intervention tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Panda lands with a nice combination. Intervention backs away looking to recover.

It looks like Divine Intervention has been cut.
A telegraphed right hand from Intervention misses the target.
Panda doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Panda moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Panda slips a jab from Intervention.
Panda only half commits to the counter leg kick.
Panda lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Intervention at a distance.
Intervention takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

It looks like KT Panda has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Panda avoids a punch combination nicely.
Panda throws a jab when Intervention was well out of range.
Intervention changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Panda misses with a body kick.

Panda looks to land a combination. Intervention sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
A head kick misses from Panda.
Intervention takes a swing at Panda's ribcage but misses.
Nice jab there from Panda.
Intervention throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Panda is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Intervention fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Panda looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Panda throws a front kick aimed at Intervention's knee but Intervention avoids it well.
Panda keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Intervention misses with a wild body shot.
Intervention misses with a hook to the body
and Panda counters with a one-two to the body.

Intervention drops Panda with a beautiful combination! Panda stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Intervention is looking for the KO!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Intervention takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Intervention loads up on a big right hand but Panda slips the punch.
Panda throws a body kick despite being completely out of range

and Intervention counters by moving into the clinch.
Panda tries to throw a body punch but Intervention avoids it by throwing Panda back against the cage.

Intervention pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Intervention misses with a looping left.
Panda moves out of range of the strikes.

Intervention drops Panda with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Panda looks back up at him and smiles so Intervention waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Panda throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Intervention wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Intervention misses with a body shot.
Panda now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Panda throws a solid leg kick but Intervention takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Panda.
Intervention will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Panda jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Panda is looking to clinch.
Panda throws a leg kick that misses.
Intervention ducks right into an uppercut from Panda.
Intervention will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Intervention misses with an uppercut.
Intervention throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Intervention misses with a hook.
Intervention fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Intervention slips a jab from Panda.
Panda misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Intervention.
Intervention ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Panda looks winded!
Intervention throws a low kick but Panda avoids it.
Intervention uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Panda keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

Intervention feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Panda sprawling to the canvas! Panda rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Intervention finish him?!

Panda is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A lazy body kick from Panda
and Intervention counters with a huge right that knocks Panda out cold! Intervention is running around with a crazed look on his face - you can see how much that meant to him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Divine Intervention!
Divine Intervention was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
