The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shek slips under a jab.
Shek swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Shek lands a nice hook to Bononi's body. Bononi takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Bononi stuns Shek with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Bononi's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Bononi duly obliges.
Shek ducks under a wild hook from Bononi.
Bononi throws a combination that misses
and Shek counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Bononi displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Shek throws out the jab.
Bononi moves out of range of the strikes.
Shek cracks Bononi with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Bononi throws a hook but Shek blocks it.
Shek rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Bononi counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bononi throws a hook but Shek avoids it easily.

A big right from Shek misses.
Shek keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Shek was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Bononi looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Bononi lands a lovely overhand right.
Bononi uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Shek.

Bononi throws out a loose jab but Shek uses good head movement to avoid it.
Bononi connects with a right hand. Shek shakes it off.

Bononi looks to land a combination but Shek avoids it well.

Shek bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Bononi lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Bononi slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Shek rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Bononi counters with a nice right hand that sends Shek toppling to the canvas! Shek scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Bononi finish him?!

Shek is rocked!
A jab from Bononi misses.
Oh Shek is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bononi misses the body punch
and Bononi takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Shek seems to have got his legs back now.

Bononi lands a big uppercut and Shek crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Shek looks OK. Bononi waves Shek back to his feet!
Bononi closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Shek out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!
