Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bogdan Valeryevich (ranked 5179 p4p, 4401 weight class) and Hamadi Hajjar (ranked 552 p4p, 498 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Valeryevich might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to oy, to ne vecher. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bogdan Valeryevich!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hamadi Hajjar!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Jorge Garcia and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valeryevich misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Hajjar uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Valeryevich.
Hajjar doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Valeryevich counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Valeryevich is taking a breather. Hajjar says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Valeryevich is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

After winning the bout, Bogdan Valeryevich thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
