Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Olavi Korhonen (ranked 4571 p4p, 3696 weight class) and Jumaidi Junet (ranked 133 p4p, 0 weight class). Jumaidi Junet has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Olavi Korhonen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jumaidi Junet! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Tarja Halkonen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Junet fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Junet shoots in for a takedown but Korhonen shows good takedown defense. Korhonen connects with an inside leg kick. Korhonen connects with an inside leg kick. Junet clinches up against the cage. Junet displaying some good clinch control by pressing Korhonen up against the cage. Korhonen tries a knee to the head but Junet blocks it.
Junet breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Junet walks forward, straight into a front kick from Korhonen. Junet fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Korhonen shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Junet is trying to defend but Korhonen finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Junet is looking to control Korhonen's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Junet avoid being mounted?
That's one minute gone in the round. Korhonen is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Korhonen will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Junet has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Korhonen is working away from the top position though. Junet is striking from the bottom but he's now found himself mounted! Oh dear - not enough focus on defense there.
Korhonen controlling the position easily from mount. Korhonen has hold of Junet's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Junet manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Korhonen manages to capitalize on a mistake by Junet to take his back!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Korhonen is not going to allow Junet to sit and survive in this position. Junet is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Korhonen gets his way!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Korhonen is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Junet controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Korhonen looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Junet has picked Korhonen up and slammed him! Korhonen can't keep hold of the triangle and Junet manages to pass to side control! Korhonen is breathing heavily. Junet wants to lay and pray for a moment but Korhonen keeps working. Korhonen defending against the ground and pound. Korhonen is not content to let Junet control the position. Junet is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Korhonen has escaped the position, nice work there. Junet tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Korhonen's face as Junet controls the position. Korhonen defending against the ground and pound. Junet controls the position from side control. Junet throws an elbow but Korhonen slips to the side and avoids it well. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Olavi Korhonen will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Korhonen takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Junet tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Korhonen defends well and Junet ends up having to push Korhonen into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Junet is looking to clinch. Junet throws a sloppy head kick and Korhonen moves out of range easily. Junet closes this distance looking for a takedown but Korhonen circles away. Junet tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Korhonen paws at him with a jab and circles away. Korhonen closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Junet's guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Junet is on top in guard.
Korhonen bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Junet's guard. Junet looking for a sweep. Not yet Junet, not yet. Korhonen wants to pass the guard but Junet is keeping the position. Junet is pulling down on Korhonen's head to control his posture.
That's one minute gone in the round. Korhonen has gone for a leg lock! Junet slips out almost immediately though and dives into Korhonen's guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Junet controlling from the top position. Korhonen on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Korhonen tries to get out of the position. Korhonen looking for subs off his back but Junet has passed one foot through into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Junet is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Junet thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Korhonen's head. Korhonen is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Junet pulls his head out easily. Junet is figuring out what he wants to do next.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Junet is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Korhonen defends it well. Junet slows the pace down in half guard. Junet looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Junet wants to lay and pray for a moment but Korhonen keeps working. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Junet wants to work for an arm triangle but Korhonen is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Jumaidi Junet showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round! Korhonen throws a hook to the side of Junet's head but Junet sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Olavi Korhonen is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Korhonen shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Junet napping and manages to drive through into side control! Korhonen working away. Korhonen happy to just control the position for now. Junet manages to get back to half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Junet is trying to maintain the position but Korhonen is very close to passing his half guard. Junet is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Korhonen is staying active.
That's one minute gone in the round. Korhonen stalling away here and it's allowed Junet to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Korhonen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Junet swivels though and keeps the full guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Junet is pulling down on Korhonen's head. It's preventing any offense from Korhonen, at least for the moment. Junet keeping moving, preventing Korhonen from controlling successfully. Junet wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Korhonen is looking to pass into half guard but Junet pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Junet is in guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Junet throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Junet sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Korhonen defending well though. Junet is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Junet wants to stand but Korhonen has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Well, if Junet is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Junet is looking to clinch but Korhonen is avoiding it.
Junet closes the distance and pushes Korhonen back into the cage. A bit of stalling here from Junet.
Junet escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Junet tries to close the distance and clinch up but Korhonen swats him away and circles back towards the center. Junet rushes Korhonen and presses him up against the cage. Junet has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Junet gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Junet works his way into side control. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! A lull in the action here.
And that's the end of the fight! Jumaidi Junet comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Junet has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
