This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Montreal, with a TWGC record of 7 wins and 2 losses; Bob Le Boulder! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 1 losses; Rio Brazil! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yuuki Gou and Shigeki Sano.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Le Boulder moves into the clinch successfully.
Brazil is pressed up against the cage. Le Boulder has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Brazil down to the mat. Brazil avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Le Boulder has taken the fight to the clinch.
Brazil wants a takedown but no success here.
Le Boulder prevents the takedown attempt.
Brazil is fighting off a takedown attempt but Le Boulder is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Brazil to the mat. Brazil regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Le Boulder (2) vs (0) Brazil Le Boulder slips nicely into half guard. Le Boulder keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Le Boulder seems to be working for a kimura but Brazil defends the submission attempt. Le Boulder controlling the pace.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Le Boulder is thwarting Brazil's attempts to control the position. Le Boulder stalling. Le Boulder has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Brazil can do anything to dispel that myth. Le Boulder works his way into full mount! Score +3 for passing guard: Le Boulder (5) vs (0) Brazil Le Boulder looking for a guillotine from mount but Brazil is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Le Boulder sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Le Boulder seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Brazil for as long as he can get away with.

That's six minutes gone in the round. Le Boulder forces the positional change into back control. Score +3 for taking back: Le Boulder (8) vs (0) Brazil Brazil is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Le Boulder.
Le Boulder's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

That's nine minutes gone in the round. Le Boulder has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Brazil is defending well but eventually Le Boulder manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Brazil has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
