Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ross Pearce (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Chambers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Ross Pearce! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jake Chambers! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Richard Clark and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pearce has closed the distance and engaged Chambers in a clinch.

Pearce gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Chambers.
Pearce throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Chamberss head. Chambers is working for takedown but Pearce is calmly controlling the position for now. Chambers is pressed up against the cage. Pearce has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Chambers down to the mat. Chambers avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Pearce throws a series of punches but Chambers avoids them all with ease. Pearce works over Chambers's head and body with a nice combination. Chambers fails with the takedown. Ross Pearce has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jake Chambers. Chambers closes the distance and clinches up with Pearce, looking for a takedown. Chambers pushes Pearce against the cage but Pearce circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Chambers avoids a punch combination nicely.
Pearce is looking to chop away at Chambers's legs. Pearce misses with a jab, cross combination.

A big right from Pearce misses. Pearce throws a nice looking combination but Chambers bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chambers looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Pearce throws a right hand that Chambers ducks under and follows up with a left that Chambers also avoids with ease. Pearce wants to clinch. Chambers dodges the punch combination from Pearce.
Pearce will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Pearce fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Chambers manages to avoid it. Chambers is looking to clinch. Chambers looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Pearce lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Chambers circles away quickly and effectively. Pearce is breathing heavily. Chambers keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Pearce connects with a looping right hand.
Chambers darts in and clinches Pearce up against the cage. Pearce manages to break the clinch.

Chambers is trying to keep an underhook but Pearce manages to get the takedown into half guard. Pearce prevents Chambers from improving his position. Chambers really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pearce. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pearce wants to stand up but Chambers has a hold of him and won't allow it. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Chambers can do anything to dispel that myth. Chambers missing with punches from the bottom.

Chambers is in trouble now - Pearce has advanced to mount! Pearce is going olschool here, as he tries to force Chambers to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Chambers shrugs it off. Chambers can't escape the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Pearce cracks Chambers with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Chambers is in all sorts of trouble here.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Pearce blocks Chambers's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Chambers in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Chambers keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Ross Pearce dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Pearce throws a combination that misses and Chambers counters with a nice double leg into side control. Pearce won't be happy with that. Pearce is not content to let Chambers control the position. You can see the frustration on Pearce's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Pearce is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Pearce is trying to control Chambers's posture but Chambers avoids it. Pearce is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. Chambers working the ground and pound. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chambers scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Pearce to see if he's OK. Chambers throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Chambers misses with a takedown attempt - Pearce sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Pearce rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Chambers moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Pearce wants to clinch up but Chambers keeps it at a distance. Ross Pearce seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pearce swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Chambers gets the takedown into side control. Pearce is looking for a sweep. Pearce manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Pearce thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pearce tries to pass the half guard into mount. Chambers knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Chambers is trying to maintain the position but Pearce is very close to passing his half guard. Chambers tries to roll over but Pearce keeps him under control. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Pearce displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Pearce cracks Chambers with a good jab.

Pearce shoots and misses and Chambers counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Chambers. Pearce gets underhooks to prevent Chambers's takedown attempt.

Jake Chambers showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Chambers keeps the fight on the outside. Chambers closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Pearce regains half guard. Chambers is working for a kimura but Pearce is defending it quite comfortably.

Pearce moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Chambers landing some decent shots from guard. Pearce is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Chambers tries for a takedown. No joy.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Pearce scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Chambers shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Chambers with the ground and pound from mount. Pearce tries to hold on but Chambers postures up. Jake Chambers has got the better of the ground game so far. Chambers with a couple of short strikes. Pearce tries to hold on but Chambers pushes him away. Pearce tries to reverse the position but Chambers maintains control. BOOM! Chambers connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Chambers lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Pearce hang on? Chambers swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Pearce is now in Chambers's guard. A big mistake from Chambers there, giving up the dominant position! Pearce postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pearce stopping the sweep attempt from Chambers. Pearce loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Pearce is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Chambers looking for a guillotine here but Pearce defends easily.
Chambers has a closed guard, preventing Pearce from standing up.
And that's the end of the fight! Jake Chambers comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Chambers has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
