Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rasmus Reedtz (ranked 591 p4p, 129 weight class) and Tacitus Kilgore (ranked 78 p4p, 19 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rasmus Reedtz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tacitus Kilgore!
The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Darius Henderson and Hugh Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kilgore scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

We've been hearing good reports from Reedtz's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Kilgore is looking for a sweep.
Reedtz in side control, throwing shots but Kilgore defends.
Kilgore is trying to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Reedtz is working Kilgore over with some ground and pound from side control.

Reedtz misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Kilgore checks a leg kick.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Kilgore! But no joy.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
That kick from Kilgore tenderised Reedtz's leg. Reedtz is trying to keep his angry face on.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Reedtz shoots for a takedown but Kilgore saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Reedtz manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Kilgore on his heels. He'll look to pass Kilgore's guard now, I'm sure.
Reedtz is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Reedtz has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

I would just about give that final round to Tacitus Kilgore.
