Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Aaron Petrov (ranked 1173 p4p, 1095 weight class) and Lusmu Kutvonen (ranked 69 p4p, 61 weight class). Petrov comes to the cage accompanied by Star.One - Original Badman Feat. Takura & Assassin. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 32 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aaron Petrov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 14 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Lusmu Kutvonen! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Wagner Zegers and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A jab from Petrov does it's job there. Petrov loads up on a big right hand but Kutvonen slips the punch. Petrov throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kutvonen sees it coming and avoids it easily. A momentary lapse in concentration from Kutvonen enables Petrov to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Kutvonen manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Kutvonen has Petrov pulled in close to control his posture. Petrov stopping the sweep attempt from Kutvonen. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Petrov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kutvonen swivels though and keeps the full guard. Kutvonen wants to sweep but no luck.
That's one minute gone in the round. Petrov engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Petrov wants to control from the top but Kutvonen keeps moving.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Petrov dives in for a single leg takedown but Kutvonen sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Petrov tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Petrov working aggressively here.
Petrov swings wildly with an uppercut but Kutvonen uses good head movement to avoid it. Petrov lands with a light punch inside. Kutvonen blocks a body shot from Petrov. Kutvonen goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Kutvonen breaks the clinch.
Petrov sizes up Kutvonen with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Some wild striking there from Petrov.
Petrov throws a lazy right hand but Kutvonen sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Kutvonen doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Petrov throws a big shot that misses. Petrov scores with a crisp jab that stopped Kutvonen in his tracks. Petrov on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. A head kick misses from Petrov. Kutvonen throws a looping overhand right but Petrov ducks down to avoid it. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Nice sprawl there from Petrov as Kutvonen shoots in. Petrov is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Petrov fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Kutvonen on the side of the head. Kutvonen slips a jab from Petrov. Kutvonen swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. A punch combination from Petrov misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Petrov throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kutvonen. Kutvonen let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Kutvonen checks the leg kick nicely there.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Kutvonen! But no joy. Kutvonen misses the jab. Kutvonen checks a leg kick. Kutvonen moves out of range as Petrov strikes. Kutvonen stuns Petrov with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. A nice combination there by Petrov.
Kutvonen drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Petrov is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Petrov defending against the ground and pound. Kutvonen has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at The Lab. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kutvonen postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Petrov is rocked! Kutvonen in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Oh Petrov is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Kutvonen misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Kutvonen with the ground and pound but Petrov regains half guard under the barage of strikes. Petrov seems to have got his legs back now. Petrov trying to hold on to Kutvonen's head to control him but Kutvonen postures up.
Kutvonen is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Kutvonen has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Petrov is trying to get back to full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kutvonen looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Aaron Petrov dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Kutvonen shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Lusmu Kutvonen has got the better of the ground game so far. Kutvonen scoring with some ground and pound. Kutvonen trying to control but Petrov is working from the bottom. Kutvonen controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Petrov avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Petrov working a defensive guard here.
Kutvonen with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Petrov keeping moving, preventing Kutvonen from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kutvonen sitting in guard, not really doing much. Petrov looking to control.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Petrov lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Kutvonen scores with a shot to the body.
Petrov throws a series of punches but Kutvonen moves out of range. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Kutvonen! But no joy. Kutvonen defending well as Petrov loads up on a big left hand. Petrov throws a hook but Kutvonen avoids it easily. Petrov closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kutvonen throws an overhand right that drops Petrov like a sack of potatoes! Kutvonen dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:06 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lusmu Kutvonen! A relieved looking Lusmu Kutvonen thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
