Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mono Loco (ranked 3338 p4p, 3311 weight class) and J Gay G (ranked 320 p4p, 319 weight class). Gay G has chosen Down as his entrance music. Mono Loco is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 25 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mono Loco!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 17 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, J Gay G!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Paulsen Ambrosius and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gay G swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Gay G misses the jab.
Gay G fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Loco has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Gay G throws a hook to the side of Loco's head but Loco sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Gay G misses with a body shot.
Gay G stuffs the takedown attempt from Loco. Loco gets slowly back to his feet.
Loco looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Gay G connects with a body shot.
Gay G digs a good hook to Loco's body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gay G lands with a cross.
Loco on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Gay G ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Gay G keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mono Loco. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Donk. Gay G catches Loco right on the button with a cross.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Loco takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Gay G's jab looks to have found its range, popping Loco under the eye.
J Gay G seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gay G cracks Loco with an open hand slap.
Gay G dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Loco closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Gay G bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Loco's head backwards.
Gay G swings away with a body shot that misses
and Loco counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Gay G manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Loco keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Loco blocks the elbow strike.
Gay G is trying to trip Loco. He has hold of a leg but Loco is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Gay G persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Loco tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Gay G avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Gay G must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Loco looking for a sweep. Not yet Loco, not yet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Loco working for submissions but it's allowed Gay G to get to half guard.
Gay G is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Loco sees it coming and defends easily.
Gay G is keen to just control but Loco is a slippery customer.

Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!

Gay G looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Loco looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Gay G wants to lay and pray for a moment but Loco keeps working.

Gay G has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, Loco works to full guard.
Gay G throws a big right hand that misses.
Loco trying to keep a closed guard but Gay G is proving a slippery customer.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Loco is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Gay G working his ground and pound in the gym.
Gay G connects with a couple of short punches.

Gay G is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Gay G trying to control the position from guard on top but Loco is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Loco is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Gay G has his hands clasped together but Loco extends and breaks Gay G's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Loco.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Mono Loco!
Mono Loco decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
