The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salmi with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Trump to score with a decent uppercut.
Salmi shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Trump counters with a stiff right hand.
Salmi uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Trump.
Trump throws a right and a left that both miss.
Salmi shoots for a double leg takedown but Trump sprawls well. He's pushed Salmi's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
A slow jab from Trump misses its intended target.
Trump swings for the body but Salmi moves out of range.
Trump stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Trump wants it to stay on the feet.
Donald Trump has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eerikki Salmi.
Salmi looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Salmi closes the distance and clinches.

Salmi dodges an elbow strike from Trump.

Salmi struggles to land a body shot inside as Trump controls his hands.
Salmi tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Trump manages to break the clinch.
Salmi gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Trump counters with a left to the body.
Trump looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Salmi misses with a takedown attempt
and Trump counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Salmi thinking.
Salmi tries for a takedown but Trump circles away easily
and Trump connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Salmi looks winded!
Salmi drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Salmi fails with the takedown
and Trump counters with a nice uppercut.

Salmi is rocked!
Trump ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Salmi's jaw. Salmi's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Trump does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
