Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fedor Mazepin (ranked 1101 p4p, 2221 weight class) and Horace Cuba (ranked 154 p4p, 274 weight class). Mazepin comes to the cage accompanied by boom. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cuba scores with a punch to the head.
Mazepin tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Cuba defends well and Mazepin ends up having to push Cuba into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Mazepin prevents a body shot from Cuba.
Cuba is struggling to control the position.
Cuba manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Cuba just leaning against Mazepin, taking a breather.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cuba lands a damaging elbow.

It looks like Fedor Mazepin has been cut.
Mazepin tries to score a body lock takedown but Cuba shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Horace Cuba.
Cuba thows a left - swing and a miss!
Mazepin tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Cuba manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Cuba fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Mazepin, pushing him back against the cage.
Cuba lands an elbow inside that Mazepin shrugs off.
Cuba scores with a shoulder strike.

Fedor Mazepin's cut is getting worse.
Mazepin is trying to pull guard but Cuba has him pressed against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fedor Mazepin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cuba has a couple of punches blocked by Mazepin.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Cuba.

Cuba lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Mazepin backwards.

Jeez, Fedor Mazepin's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Cuba pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Mazepin blocks the elbow strike.
Mazepin has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Cuba avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Cuba lands a hook to the side of the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Mazepin is looking to take this one to the mat.
Cuba creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Mazepin's defenses.
