Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Zy Meth (ranked 3378 p4p, 3373 weight class) and Jean Pierre Archambeau (ranked 408 p4p, 407 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Zy Meth! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jean Pierre Archambeau! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, William Peck and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Meth avoids the body shot from Archambeau.
Meth clobbers Archambeau with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Meth seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Meth lands with a right hand. Meth jabs Archambeau right on the nose. Archambeau blinks but takes it well. A slow jab from Meth misses its intended target. Archambeau misses with a jab to the body
and Meth counters with a left to the body. Meth scores with a hook to the body. Archambeau takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Meth scores with a nice head shot. The fighters circle momentarily. Meth darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Meth lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Archambeau takes a shot right to the bread basket. This has been an exciting period of action! The fighters circle momentarily. Meth darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Archambeau works Meth's body with a nice hook. Meth throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
That's one minute gone in the round. Archambeau throws a lazy right hand but Meth sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Meth is looking to counter punch. Nice cross by Meth. Meth misses with a body shot.
Archambeau misses the jab. Meth throwing a counter right hand but Archambeau manages to avoid it. Meth is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Meth digs a good body shot into Archambeau's ribs. Meth connects with a body shot. The crowd cheers as Meth lands an impressive looking overhand right. Archambeau doesn't seem phased though. Archambeau works Meth's body with a nice hook. Archambeau misses the body punch and Meth counters with a nice uppercut. Meth connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Meth works over Archambeau's head and body with a nice combination. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Meth keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Meth lands the left hand. Meth scores with a jab to the jaw. Meth connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Archambeau's hands. Archambeau misses with a body shot.
Meth is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Archambeau. Archambeau with the counter takedown but Meth avoids it easily. Zy Meth seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A low kick from Archambeau is predictable there and Meth counters with a lovely shot to the body. Archambeau throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Meth tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Archambeau is in Meth's guard. Archambeau wants to control from the top but Meth keeps moving. Archambeau pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Meth is keeping the position for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Archambeau engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Archambeau slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Archambeau is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Meth is trying to escape and Archambeau transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Meth is forced to tap! Nice work there by Archambeau! Very nice indeed!
