Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lou Slugger (ranked 741 p4p, 2291 weight class) and Deontay DJ (ranked 95 p4p, 280 weight class). Slugger comes to the cage accompanied by For Heavy Metal we will die!. DJ has chosen Lil Scrappy - No Problem as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lou Slugger! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 9 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Deontay DJ! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Alyssa Summers and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Slugger ducks down and throws a hook to the body but DJ moves away. Slugger's corner calls for a 1-2. Slugger obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Slugger throws a body shot but no joy. Slugger scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Slugger throws a shot from downtown. DJ moves away and avoids it. DJ connects with a solid leg kick. DJ lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
DJ has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Slugger connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. DJ misses with a series of wild punches.
Slugger tries to keep at a distance but DJ has taken the fight into the clinch. DJ doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Slugger has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Slugger's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. A leg kick checked by Slugger.
That's one minute gone in the round. Slugger tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and DJ is able to avoid easily. DJ throws a jab when Slugger was well out of range. DJ works over Slugger's head and body with a nice combination. Slugger scores with a shot to the body.
Slugger circles away from the clinch attempt and Slugger counters with a good low kick that DJ was not able to check. DJ takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
DJ lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. DJ pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Slugger looks to throw the jab but DJ is out of range. Slugger looks to land a combination but DJ avoids it well. DJ throws a counter combo. DJ looks to land a combination but Slugger avoids it well. DJ lands a nice hook to Slugger's body. Slugger takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. DJ lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Slugger circles away quickly and effectively.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! DJ tries to bum rush Slugger with a series of wild strikes but Slugger uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Slugger lands a nice looking body shot.
DJ misses with a wild combination.
DJ lands a really nice looking cross but Slugger seems unphased.
DJ takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. DJ lands with a nice body kick. Slugger lands with a kick to the temple. DJ shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Slugger. DJ shrugs it off though. DJ shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. DJ misses with a series of wild punches.
Slugger moves out of range of the strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Slugger cracks DJ on the jaw with a powerful right hand and DJ falls backwards against the cage. Slugger follows up with more strikes that drop DJ to his knees. Slugger keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save DJ! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lou Slugger! After the fight, Lou Slugger was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
