Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Feathers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodie Tua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Feathers could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Rodie Tua's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Feathers fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Tua fails in his attempt to clinch. Tua fails in his attempt to clinch. Feathers fails to land with a series of punches.
Feathers dips to his left and cracks Tua with an uppercut! Feathers looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Tua is fending him off so far but Feathers persists. Nope, Tua circles away and we're back to standing. Feathers tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tua swats him away and circles back towards the center. Feathers fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Feathers tries to clinch but fails miserably so Tua counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Tua trying to control but Feathers is working from the bottom. Tua in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Tua wants to control from the top but Feathers keeps moving. Tua is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Feathers looking to hit a scissor sweep but Tua is one step ahead there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Feathers is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Feathers keeping moving, preventing Tua from controlling successfully. Feathers had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Tua is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Feathers Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Tua's back instead. Feathers misses with an elbow to the head. Tua turns into Feathers and is now in his guard.
Tua stands and throws Feathers's legs to the side, diving into side control. Feathers takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Tua thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Tua fails to land a wild elbow strike.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Feathers tries to bench press Tua off him but Tua keeps the position. Tua has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Tua wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Feathers, who protects the arm well. Feathers could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Tua is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Feathers is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Tua looks gassed! Tua tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Tua has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Tua has an Americana. Feathers didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Tua is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Tua hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
